RESULTS:

5/8/09 - Samantha was born on May 2, 2009 and we brought her home on May 5th. At just 5 pounds, 6 ounces, everyone refers to her as "peanut". Jake was a little standoffish at first - keeping his distance. Over the next day or two, Jake slowly came closer and closer as he investigated this new little bundle that was taking up so much of Mommy and Daddy's time.

Eventually, Jake drew up enough courage to get a few good whiffs of Samantha and he is now regularly coming over to check her out during feedings and diaper changes. He is acclimating nicely and we think he has just found his new best friend. If only he could change a diaper on his own, that would really help out...
