The Truth About Type 1 Diabetes

Bob Glauber, NY Newsday sports columnist wrote about why the Jets shouldn't go after Jay Cutler, mentioning casually amongst other arguments that Cutler had Type 1 Diabetes. A letter from a reader whose daughter was living with the same disease motivated Glauber to do his part to raise awareness and support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). A Letter A Week donated $25 to the cause as well.
